We are looking to hire a reliable retail Sales Associate to be responsible for maintaining a small retail outlet. Must be a quick learner, able to work the store alone after proper training, and be confident in decision making abilities. Graphic design experience is helpful, but not necessary. Approximately 8-12 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• Process point of sale purchases
• Handle returns of merchandise
• Help build social media following
• Stock sales floor and keep tracking of inventory

Skills

• Prior experience as a retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative or similar role preferred.
• Hands-on experience with register transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts - certain weekends revolving around Kent State events will be required (football games, homecoming, parent's weekend, etc).
